This is Carlington

This New page has been created for the model enthusiast - The pictures are of
my own"00" layout "Carlington",
situated in a 12 ft x 10 ft bedroom, and when I am not photographing the real thing I like to relax
with a spot of model making. Although I am a novice, I try my hardest to make
the scene look convincing. The Layout is Based on the mid sixties - North
eastern region plus a touch of Modellers licence, i.e. some of my favourite LMS
locos make frequent appearances. Some of the main features are:
- All signals work (both colour light & semaphore)
- All point work are electrofrog & electrically powered
- Up to 4 trains can be worked at once
- auto shuttle serves mine area - usually with a NCB J94 at the head of the
train.& also a Pug helps
- Yard Lighting
- Peco Turntable is electrically operated
Pictures marked with
** are by Ray Lightfoot ARPS - Some of these will
appear in the Model Magazine " BRITISH RAILWAY MODELLING"
- August 2008 (available early July)
these remain the copyright of
the Photographer STRICTLY FOR VIEWING ONLY
Enough of this Down to the
pictures - as usual click on thumbnail to view larger picture.
